We’re taking nothing for granted – can you help?

Election day is just a few days away! Kitchissippi has traditionally been a hotly-contested ward, and we’re taking nothing for granted in the campaign office. I want to go back to City Hall with a strong, clear mandate. I need your help to ensure I return to City Hall as a voice:

  • For more thoughtful intensification that enhances resident’s quality of life;
  • For a Council that takes seriously our environment;
  • For a more inclusive city that addresses inequality;

Early in this campaign, I had the chance to outline the accomplishments of which I’m most proud and how I’d like to build on those here.

In the next term of Council, we’ll be refreshing our Official Plan, our Transportation Master Plan, our Housing and Homlessness plan, our solid waste strategy and development charges. It’s important to me that I have Kitchissippi’s strong support as I advocate for our ward’s values.

I need your help to send me back with that strong mandate in what will be a groundbreaking term! In the days remaining to us:

  • We still need your financial help. We’re tantalizingly close to our lean fundraising goal, but still need to raise a little more;
  • We need your volunteer help on election day to distribute literature and drive voters to the polls;
  • Most of all, we need you to come out and vote. Our ward had the third-highest turnout for the advance polls, a tribute to my team’s efforts that day. We need the momentum to continue!

Above, you’ll see buttons to donate, and to volunteer. Please take a moment now to do both if you haven’t already. I’m grateful for the support Kitchissippi has already given to me – let’s put it over the top on Monday.
